Student Support & Special Area Teachers
At Summerville Catholic School, our Student Support and Special Area teachers play an essential role in educating the whole child. From academic support to enrichment in the arts, physical education, technology, and world languages, this dedicated team helps students grow in confidence, creativity, and character. Through their expertise and care, they ensure that every student is supported, engaged, and inspired both inside and outside the classroom.

Mrs. Rochelle Conley, Inclusive Education Team
Mrs. Conley has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for over 26 years and brings more than 36 years of teaching experience. As part of our Inclusive Education team, she works closely with students who have IEPs or 504 plans, advocating for their needs and supporting their academic success. Mrs. Conley is an invaluable resource to both students and teachers, helping ensure that all learners are supported and able to thrive.

Mrs. Cheree West, Inclusive Education Team
Mrs. West has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for over 15 years and brings more than 26 years of teaching experience. As part of our Inclusive Education team, she works closely with students who have IEPs or 504 plans, supporting their academic growth and success. Mrs. West also collaborates with teachers to provide guidance and support, helping ensure that all students are able to thrive in the classroom.

Mrs. Jennette McClure, Middle School Religion & Computer Teacher / Librarian
Mrs. McClure joined the Summerville Catholic School community in the 2024–2025 school year as our librarian and now serves as the Middle School Religion and Computer teacher while continuing to lead the school library and Beta Club. She brings over five years of teaching experience and is a positive role model for her students, sharing her faith in all that she does. Mrs. McClure is passionate about teaching and works to create engaging and meaningful lessons that inspire her students both academically and spiritually.

Miss Caroline Martens, Art & Lower School Computer Teacher
Miss Martens has been a cherished member of the Summerville Catholic School community for 25 years. As our Art and Lower School Computer teacher, she brings creativity and enthusiasm into everything she does. Miss Martens guides students in exploring their artistic talents through fun and engaging projects, helping them build confidence while expressing their creativity.

Mrs. Jean Fox, Physical Education Teacher & Athletic Director
Mrs. Fox has been a dedicated member of the Summerville Catholic School community for over 34 years. As our Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director, she works to keep students active and engaged through fun and creative games that promote teamwork and healthy habits. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Fox organizes and oversees all SCS athletic programs, providing students with opportunities to grow, compete, and build strong character through sports.

Miss Ruddy, Music Teacher
Miss Ruddy has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for over eight years. As our music teacher, she brings energy and creativity to every class, helping students discover and develop their musical talents. She is the driving force behind the Singing Saints choir and the beloved Christmas shows, which are highlights of the school year. Miss Ruddy is dedicated to making music fun, engaging, and meaningful for all of her students.

Mrs. Sophia Zapata, Spanish Teacher
Mrs. Zapata has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for four years and brings over seven years of teaching experience. She works with students from K3 through middle school, including our high school level Spanish Honors course, helping them develop strong language skills at every stage. Mrs. Zapata fosters a love of language learning and Spanish culture through fun, engaging, and interactive lessons.

Ms. Kathryn Farmer, Extended Day Program & Summer Camp Coordinator
Ms. Farmer has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for five years. As the Extended Day Program and Summer Camp Coordinator, she works to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students beyond the school day. Mrs. Farmer is dedicated to creating a positive experience for all students in the program, offering activities that support both fun and continued growth.
