Early Childhood Team
At Summerville Catholic School, our Early Childhood team creates a joyful and nurturing environment where young learners feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day. Through faith-based learning and engaging activities, students begin building the foundation for lifelong success.

Mrs. Daneyelle Bolen, K3 Lead Teacher
Mrs. Bolen began her time at Summerville Catholic School as the K4 assistant teacher before stepping into the role of K3 Lead Teacher in the 2024–2025 school year. She brings creativity, energy, and a deep love for early childhood education into her classroom, where she is dedicated to helping her students grow in both learning and confidence. Mrs. Bolen pours her heart into her students each day and creates a nurturing environment where young learners feel supported and inspired. She is also a proud SCS parent, with a daughter currently attending the school.

Mrs. Marcy Blitch, K3 Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Blitch joined the Summerville Catholic School community as the K3 Assistant Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. She has embraced her role in early childhood education and is dedicated to supporting her students with care, patience, and encouragement each day. Mrs. Blitch goes above and beyond to help her students feel comfortable and confident as they begin their school journey. She is also a proud grandparent of a current SCS student, giving her a special connection to the school community.

Ms. Joni Stricklin, K4 Lead Teacher
Mrs. Stricklin has been a valued member of the Summerville Catholic School community for over five years and brings 19 years of teaching experience to her role as K4 Lead Teacher. She creates a vibrant and engaging classroom environment filled with creativity, energy, and hands-on learning. Mrs. Stricklin is known for designing fun and unique activities that inspire her students and help foster a love of learning at an early age.

Mrs. Vanessa Cruz, K4 Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Cruz joined the Summerville Catholic School community as the K4 Assistant Teacher for the 2024–2025 school year. She brings a fun and positive energy to the classroom and works closely with each student to support their growth and success. Mrs. Cruz is dedicated to helping young learners build confidence and develop a love of learning. She is also a proud SCS parent, giving her a strong connection to the school community.
