Why is fundraising so important for SCS?
At Summerville Catholic School, fundraising is vital to school operations. We fundraise to bridge the gap between tuition and fees and the cost of operating the school.

When you donate to support Summerville Catholic School, you are supporting:
- 262 students
- 28 instructional staff members
- Teachers that all meet Diocesan certification requirements.
- A dedicated full-time Middle School Principal to support the development of our middle school teachers and students.
- A dedicated full-time Elementary School Principal to support the development of our elementary school teachers and students.
- A dedicated School Counselor to support and help our students navigate any non-instructional obstacles preventing them from excelling not only in the classroom, but in life.
- Two full-time Inclusive Education teachers that support and help our students overcome any barriers preventing them from excelling academically.
- Closing the cost to educate gap. The cost to educate is $8,522 per student. However, the average SCS family can only afford $5,387. Your donation directly supports closing this gap!
