What's Happening at SCS

At SCS, we strengthen our students in spirit, mind and body. Our Lady Seahawks had an awesome volleyball season improving with every game they played. The school gathers every Wednesday for Mass, and we are blessed to have parents, parishioners, and friends join us on this day. Answering the call serve, the SCS community participates in many outreach activities such as our annual World Series Cereal Drive.
Back to School Excitement

The SCS faculty was thrilled to see so many enthusiastic children ready to begin the new school year. The hallways were filled with laughter, singing and excitment as the children met their new teacher and greeted their friends. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of our PSA and Annual Appeal supporters, we started the year with additional resources to enhance student learning. We upgraded the science lab with new furniture & equipment as well as added 27 new computers for our lab.
Summer Lego Robotics Camp

Students in 2nd - 8th grade spent two weeks this summer learning the joys and challenges of working as a team to program a robot made from Legos. Campers incorporated math, science and technology into these amazing machines.
Inspiring Every Student

Bishop Guglielmone Visits SCS

SCS was honored to welcome Bishop Guglielmone to our school wide liturgy that was celebrated in May. Our students, faculty and parents were inspired by his kind words.
SCS Bugfest

SCS was recently invaded by a variety of insects such as ladybugs, ants, butterflies, rollie pollies and the sound of buzzing honey bees. Students in K4 - 1st grade recited insect poetry & trivia, sang songs, and shared bug jokes to educate and entertain family and friends at their first Bugest.
PSA Carnival

School and parish families gathered at SCS to enjoy the annual Mayfest Carnival. Students had a wonderful time playing games, tossing confetti eggs, taking a spin at the cake walk and soaking their teachers and principal in the dunking booth. We appreciate all the volunteers who helped organize this fun-filled afternoon. We would also like to thank the Knights of Columbus from St. Theresa parish for cooking those fabulous burgers!
Math Night Excitement

Our annual Math Night for kindergarten through 5th grade was a huge succes. Students brought their parents to school for hands on math activites. Students practice their estimating and geometry skills and even challenged their parents to multiplication bingo.
Making New Friends

We love SCS and all the friends we've made at school!
