Uniforms are mandatory at Summerville Catholic School to reflect the high standards and the value we place on a proper educational atmosphere. They also serve to unify in spirit and to present a visual symbol of our student body. Because of this, the breaking of the uniform code is viewed as disruptive not only in disobedience of dress code, but also as a threat to the “esprit de corps” of the school community.

The Dress Code may be found as part of the Student Handbook. However, you may download only the Dress Code section for quick reference. You can also refer to these shoe suggestions.

The following pictures illustrate the uniform choices available to the students.

There are also "Tag" days. On these days students may dress in appropriate non-uniform attire provided that they make a small contribution to charities that help their neighbors. As the following picture shows, Tag day attire is free-form, but tasteful. And better yet, the kids love it!
